“Meet a GERAD researcher!” seminar
Supply chain optimization under uncertainty
Yossiri Adulyasak – Associate Professor, Department of Logistics and Operations Management, HEC Montréal, Canada
This talk covers our recent research in the area of optimization under uncertainty in the context of supply chain and logistics, which include production planning, inventory management, distribution and transportation planning. More specifically, we discuss how the uncertainty in data inputs can be incorporated in the decision models under the different solutions schemes (most notably stochastic programming and robust optimization) and how we can efficiently solve them. We will also present the research opportunities toward supply chain analytics which attempt to leverage data to enhance and build decision models.
Coffee and biscuits will be offered at the beginning of the seminar.
Welcome to everyone!
