In this talk we present and motivate a class of problems called discretely-constrained mixed complementarity problems (DC-MCP). This class of equilibrium problems combines integer (often binary) restrictions on an MCP system as might arise in energy or transportation settings taking into account equity aspects of a solution while allowing for autonomy of the players. We provide both theoretical as well as numerical results to support approaches to solve the resulting challenging problems.
