5th GERAD students day
We invite you to the 5th edition of GERAD's Student Day, on the theme of energy transition. The aim of this event is to give students the opportunity to present their projects to their peers. Held as part of the Winter 2025 Thematic Semester on the theme of decision support for the energy transition, we are particularly looking for presentations related to energy and environmental issues.
Two formats are offered to students wishing to present:
1. Seminar: An oral presentation to an audience, which will be recorded for later posting on GERAD's YouTube page.
2. Poster: One poster presentation.
We plan to produce a special edition of Cahiers du GERAD (template here) with abstracts of posters and presentations (Beamer template here).
The presentation may be in English or French (with slides in English).
A prize will be awarded for the best presentation in each format!
The day will conclude with a networking session. This will take the form of a 5 à 7 with cocktails and appetizers and is open to the wider GERAD community.
All students who are (co-)supervised by a GERAD member are invited (and encouraged) to attend, regardless of the stage of their project!
The preliminary schedule for the day is as follows:
2pm - 3.30pm: Oral presentations
3.30 - 4.15 pm: Break and poster exhibition
4.15pm - 5pm: Oral presentations
5pm - 7pm: Cocktail and awards ceremony
You can register using the following links, whether you wish to present or simply attend the full day or the networking event:
