Logistics Activities Autodiagnosis for Successful Implementation of Electronic Commerce
, , and BibTeX reference
Electronic commerce is a natural evolution of traditional business. This evolution aims at e-Enterprise. The impact of this new concept on the functions of the company is phenomenal. The successful growth of a company within electronic commerce and the success of e-Enterprise require the integration of all its logistics activities. Since no checklist has yet been established for successful implementation of electronic commerce, we propose an autodiagnosis tool to detail the company's profile in order to analyse its logistics activities. This autodiagnosis tool, in the form of a questionnaire, contains two levels of analysis: the strategical diagnosis and the operational diagnosis. For each level of analysis, the classical process analysis is used. Each question (What? Where? When? Who? How? and Why?) is applied to both the material flow and the information flow.
