GERAD congratulates Mohand-Ryad Chelbani on receiving the Ken Wang Scholar for the year 2023.

The AGIFORS Ken Wang Scholars program recognizes students who are in the early stages of their careers and are engaging in airline operations research. The AGIFORS Ken Wang Scholars, is for students early in their academic programs who are pursuing creative, rigorous, and practically relevant work using operations research techniques to solve airline problems. AGIFORS Ken Wang Scholars will receive a fully paid registration for the 2023 AGIFORS Symposium in Montréal including all technical presentations as well as the social program.

The winners will have the opportunity to meet and interact with the AGIFORS Community, represented by the conference participants: 4 days of interactions with experts, both scientists and practitioners, in the domains of operations research and advanced analytics, applied to the airline industry, as well as 20+ presentations at the forefront of innovation and practice in these fields (revenue management, operations, crew planning, scheduling, maintenance...).
