The webinar will be hosted by Normand Mousseau, Professor of Physics at the Université de Montréal, Scientific Director of the Trottier Energy Institute (IET), and Scientific Co-Director of the CME.
After a short introduction to GERAD and its thematic semester by Olivier Bahn, Professor at HEC Montréal and Director of GERAD, two inspiring presentations will enrich this session:
Jesse D. Jenkins
Assistant Professor and Engineer specializing in large-scale energy systems, Princeton University. He directs the Princeton ZERO Lab, where he develops optimized models to guide policies and investments in low-carbon technologies.
Dr. Erica Thompson
Author of Escape from Model Land, Associate Professor at University College London, and expert in modelling for decision-making. Her research focuses on interpreting models to inform policy and strategic decisions.
