Thiago Correia Pereira, PhD student supervised by Daniel Aloise and Marie-Ève Rancourt, received a prestigious award from the Serious Games Society for his hurricane preparedness game developed as part of his upcoming PhD thesis.

The award was sponsored by Center for Advanced Preparedness and Threat Response Simulation (CAPTRS) for serious games addressing crisis and emergency preparedness, response, recovery and resilience.
