How to reach Urbino

By train and bus: The complete train schedule is available at: www.trenitalia.com. Once you arrive at PESARO railway station you should take the bus to Urbino (the bus stop is immediately in front of the station). Urbino is connected by bus services. On Sundays and Public holidays bus services are reduced. The complete bus schedule is available at the following web address: www.adriabus.eu.

By plane: The nearest airports are: Ancona (85 km), Rimini (70 km) and Bologna (150 km). From these destinations you must always take the train to PESARO. If you arrive at Bologna Airport or at Rimini airport, you have to reach the railway station by bus (very quick connection, every 15 minutes in both cases) and then take a train to Pesaro (from bologna to Pesaro there are several connections, time required about 1 hour and 40 minutes).

By car: A14 motorway: direction Canosa/Bologna > Pesaro-Urbino exit > then take the road SS. 423 Urbinate.

By sea: Ferry service to the port of Ancona, tourist port of Pesaro or Fano, followed by bus or car journey From Rome: There is a bus service which departs directly from Rome - Tiburtina Railway Station: www.adriabus.eu/viewdoc.asp?CO_ID=4299.
