Exploring centrality measures and their extensions through an influence network

In this paper, we propose an empirical study of the centrality of actors in network. The data was collected among publicly available information of the boards members of organisations, including charities in Québec. A first contribution of this paper is a set of new measures of centralities and variations on classical measures. From the application point of view, the strategical position of professionals (accountants and lawyers in this case) within the network is shown.
